Recently a photograph showing Gabriel García Márquez, Carlos Monsiváis, Carlos Salinas, Elena Poniatowska and other 20th century’s most celebrated Mexican personalities was posted on Twitter. Among the writers, journalists, academics, and artists starring in the picture was an infamous president as well as a mysterious stuffed doll which somehow slipped into the picture. This documentary unveils the story behind that photo, which is emblematic of the relationship between power and the intellectuals.
